SHEPHERD'S CENTER OF NORTH DALLAS
Who ever thought being a senior could be so much fun?
Our basic premise is that it takes a senior to help a senior get more out of life. We feel that all seniors are interesting and they have much to share with others.
That's where our Shepherd's Center of North Dallas founded in 1994 comes in. We are based on
and part of Shepherd's Centers of America,
a national organization begun in 1972 by Dr. Elbert Cole and a coalition of twenty five
churches and synagogues in Kansas City, Missouri. From that beginning, the concept spread
from coast to coast. People of all faiths work together in Shepherd's Centers to help
older adults sustain and celebrate life.

persons over 55 to experience SOCIAL, HEALTH, and INTELLECTUAL GROWTH and to REMAIN FUNCTIONAL
in their community.
